The benefit of using EPC Burton is that we are a small, local independent company and because we do not exceed the threshold for VAT registration, the benefit to our customers is that THERE IS NO VAT to be added to our costs and WE DO NOT CHARGE MILEAGE so the full saving is passed on to you our customer. Larger companies and estate agents will often have overheads, mileage and VAT to add to their fees so we find we are often up to 50% cheaper than other EPC providers.  Unlike many impersonal internet based 'Panel Companies' who rely on undertaking large numbers of EPC's, we work with property owners and landlords to provide advice and guidance on any improvements that can be made in order to get the best rating possible. It may also be possible to delay lodging the EPC on the Government Register whilst quick fixes or missing documentary evidence is found to support a higher rating. Indeed much of our repeat business comes from customers who appreciate the support we can offer which is particularly valuable prior to the potential higher rating requirements that are due to be implemented by the Government.
